Mr. Richard Katzman graduated from Trinity College in Connecticut in 1980, and received his Juris Doctor with Honors from California Western School of Law, in San Diego, California. He was admitted to the California Bar in 1985.

Mr. Katzman has been self employed since the beginning of his law career. Initially, he handled a wide variety of cases. Currently, 90 percent of his legal practice involves Criminal Defense matters. The other 10 percent is made up of Personal Injury, Immigration and Debt Relief matters.

Mr. Katzman also sits as a Judge Pro Tem in the San Diego Court System as a Small Claims Judge and as a Traffic Court Judge.

Richard is 52 years old and married to Maria. They have an twelve-year old daughter Isabella Genevieve. Richard enjoy competitive swimming, water and alpine skiing, the WPT, reading, going to the movies, and traveling.
